Requirements Engineering

As technical possibilities continue to grow, so do the demands placed on modern IT systems. Complex requirements must be implemented reliably in ever shorter timeframes. One of the most effective levers to achieve this is well-structured requirements engineering.

My focus is on ensuring sustainable, maintainable, and efficient solutions already at the requirements level – among other things through:

  • Questioning and truly understanding the business objectives

  • Collecting, aligning, and sustainably documenting results

  • Abstracting and refining requirements

  • Structuring, consolidating, and harmonizing requirements

  • Eliminating redundancies and contradictions

  • Identifying alternative solution approaches

  • Clarifying data protection and legal constraints

  • Deriving epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria

  • Developing solution concepts

  • Validation through business test cases, use cases, MVPs, and prototypes
